General Conditions
|
|
The minimum stay is 1 week, if not indicated otherwise for each accommodation (apartment, villa, townhouse) |
|
|
Check-in on arrival possible earliest at 18 h (6 p.m.). |
|
|
Only the people who are named and confirmed on the definite booking confirmation (rental contract) are permitted to use the accommodation. Our express, written consent is required where the number of people is to exceed the stated maximum for the accommodation. |
|
|
It is compulsory to ask PREVIOUSLY for an authorization if you wish to bring your dog or another domestic animal with you. Many of the accommodation's owners do not accept the presence of any kind of animals for different reasons, such as possible allergic reactions by other guests, cleaning or general hygienic aspects. The owners reserve the right to refuse the entrance in their accommodation in case of the non-authorized presence of an animal. |

NO SMOKING: It is generally not allowed to smoke in the accommodations. If there exist a balcony, a terrace or any other exterior area belonging to the accommodation, smokers are requested to use these exclusively. |
|
|
The accommodations must be kept in a clean and tidy condition. |
|
|
Acceptable levels of noise and appropriate behaviour are required whilst you are within an accommodation. |
|
|
Any damage or breakage must be reported to us as soon as it occurs. |
|
|
We will not be held liable for any loss or damage to you or your property during your stay. |
|
|
We suggest to contract appropriate insurances for holidays, specially covering eventual cancellation of the trip (transport, accommodation, etc.), repatriation etc., in any case of force majeure (like illness, accident, etc.). |
|
|

Every effort is made to ensure that all facilities offered are available to you, but no guarantees are offered. If some facilities are unavailable, we will try to rectify this immediately. |
|
|
If you break any of the terms of the rental contract, you will effectively cancel the holiday with immediate effect. Entrance to the accommodation will be refused and you must vacate the property. |
|
|
We reserve the right to change the accommodations specifications, prices and our conditions & terms at any time if it is necessary to do so. |
|
|
Reservation & Payment Terms
|
|
Reservations must be confirmed by letter,fax
or the reservation form available online on this website, containing complete,
correct and verifiable address and telephone number. |
|
|
When making a booking through one of the above mentioned methods, you recognize implicitly our terms and conditions. |
|
|
Payment terms: |
|
|
The same payment terms are valid for car rental and any further additional options. |
|
|
Breakage deposit: will be refund within maximum 2 weeks of your departure, less any amounts due for damage or breakage caused by unfair wear and tear. Any damage or breakage must be reported to us as soon as it occurs. |
|
|
Methods of payment: - in Portugal, from a portuguese bank, by bank transfer to NIB which will be given in case of reservation. - within the E.U. most simple and quick way by bank transfer as per European Union regulation nº 2560/2001 including ALL the following details: IBAN & BIC/SWIFT: will be given in case of reservation Conditions "STP" Fees "SHA" - postal money order (allow 4 - 6 days for post to reach us) - money order through Western Union (also available at many post offices, immediately payable at destination) - cash in euros - by cheque, to Herbert Hermatschweiler: a) drawn on any portuguese bank, in euros b) drawn on a foreign bank, but mentioning the amount in euros TO BE FULLY PAID cash to Herbert Hermatschweiler, indicating at which portuguese bank it will be payed. No foreign cheques are accepted which only are paid through its deposit on a portuguese bank account (excessive banker's fees). |

A copy of the 1st payment has to be sent by fax (+351 282 782 313) within maximum 3 working days, otherwise the reserved dates will be made available again for other interested people. |
|
|
Reservations will be confirmed only after receipt of the 50% deposit !! |
|
|
Cancellation
|
|
If you cancel your reservation more than 3 months before your arrival date, a full refund of the initial deposit is given (less eventual corresponding fees). |
|
|
If you cancel between 1½ and 3 months before your arrival date, only half of the initial deposit will be refunded (less eventual corresponding fees). |
|
|
If you cancel less than 1½ month before your arrival date, a partial refund is given only if the accommodation can be let to someone else. |
|
|
